Truckee Town Hall and the Public Works building will be closed to the public from December 23rd to January 3rd, with normal services resuming on January 6th. While the buildings will be closed, Town of Truckee staff will still be working and providing services and building inspections can still be scheduled during this time.
Animal Services will remain open daily from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm except for December 25th and January 1st when they will be closed. Public Works operations, including snow removal and general street maintenance, will continue as usual during this period.
The Truckee Police Department will be closed on December 23rd through December 25th, and January 1st for the federally observed holidays, but will otherwise maintain regular office hours of 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Police Officers, Community Services Officers, and Parking Aides will continue to serve the community throughout the holiday period.
The regularly scheduled Truckee Town Council meeting on December 24th has been canceled. Public meetings will resume in January 2025 with the first meeting scheduled for January 14th.
