The Town of Truckee is pleased to announce the release of three final draft reports that are the culmination of an extensive organizational assessment process. These reports offer valuable insights and are now available for public review:
- Community Opinion Survey (PDF) – A statistically valid survey conducted by True North Research, reflecting the perspectives of 600 randomly selected registered voters within the Town of Truckee.
- Operational & Service Delivery Assessment (PDF) – A comprehensive evaluation of Town operations and service delivery conducted by Baker Tilly.
- Report of Findings: Development Services (PDF) – A detailed analysis of development services processes, completed by Air Diamond Consulting.
All three consultants will present their findings at the Truckee Town Council meeting on May 13, 2025. The meeting will offer an opportunity for the Council to ask questions, with Town staff recommending acceptance of all three reports. Next steps and implementation planning will follow in a subsequent meeting.
The Town extends sincere thanks to all who contributed to this process, community members, staff, regional partners and council, whose collaboration made this effort possible. The Town is happy to conclude this review of our organization and community expectations, and we look forward to using the information in these reports to guide future improvements and strengthen our service to the community.
